Gris — Thanks for the kind words. Actually, from time to time I have thrown out some blue-sky ideas, e.g. a UBI (google <Dolan UBI> and you’ll find some of what I’ve written on that). I also endorse (and will get around to writing on) my colleague Sam Hammond’s idea of a “Free Market Welfare State.” You have several good ideas here, too.
